Our story
In the early 1980s, Mike Ritchie and his father Jim started Ritchie Floors Inc. with a clear goal: to bring higher-quality craftsmanship and service to the hardwood flooring industry. Working out of West Chicago with just a rented truck and materials picked up daily from the local lumber yard, they built their reputation one job at a time—focused on doing the work the right way.
Today, Ritchie Floors is a third-generation, family-owned business, now based in Saint Charles, IL. With Mike’s son Ryan continuing the tradition, we bring over 40 years of experience to every project. While the tools and materials have changed, our commitment to quality, reliability, and personalized service remains the same.
